SWIMWEAR/SPORTSWEAR
- During the 1920s the style of swimwear exposed a lot more skin than it did in previous decades; the public was not used to this.
- Belts were worn at waist and knitted two piece tubular suits were a few popular swimsuit trends. One piece suits also became popular throughout the 1920s.
- As time went on swimsuits began exposing more skin.
- While playing sports people starting wearing lighter clothes such as shorts or slacks instead of corsets, long thick skirts, and extra layers of fabric/garments because they allowed more motion and it was easier to move around in these new clothes.
